By registering for Becoming HER Retreat, participants acknowledge that they have read, understand, and agree to the following terms and conditions. 

RETREAT REGISTRATION & RETAINER

A $1,000 retainer is required at the time of registration to reserve your spot for The Becoming HER Retreat. The retainer will be applied toward the total retreat investment.

Retainers are non-refundable and secure your retreat space.

Because Becoming HER is intentionally limited and retreat spaces are extremely limited, registration is considered a commitment to attend.

PAYMENT SCHEDULE

Payment schedules may vary based on enrollment date and selected payment plan. Specific payment deadlines will be communicated at registration. 

For the October 21–25, 2026 Becoming HER Retreat in Destin, Florida: 

All retreat balances must be paid in full by September 15, 2026. 

Failure to complete scheduled payments may result in forfeiture of retreat participation and payments previously made.

CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY

Any cancellation made between July 22, 2026 and September 15, 2026 will result in forfeiture of 50% of the total retreat investment.

Any cancellation made on or after September 15, 2026 and through retreat departure will result in forfeiture of 100% of the retreat investment, including no-shows or early departures.

No refunds, credits, or partial reimbursements will be provided for unused portions of the retreat including missed activities, early departures, late arrivals, or participant decisions not to attend specific experiences.

TRANSFER POLICY 

Retreat spots may be transferred to another approved participant only with written approval from retreat organizers. 

HOST CANCELLATION POLICY

The Hormone Puzzle Society® and Becoming HER reserve the right to cancel the retreat if minimum enrollment requirements are not met or due to unforeseen circumstances including, but not limited to, weather events, safety concerns, travel restrictions, venue issues, illness, emergencies, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

Should the retreat be canceled by retreat organizers, participants will receive a full refund of retreat payments made.

The Hormone Puzzle Society® shall not be responsible for airfare, travel expenses, hotel accommodations outside of the retreat dates, travel insurance expenses, or other participant-incurred costs.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

Trip cancellation and travel insurance are strongly recommended to protect your investment in the event of illness, emergencies, weather disruptions, flight delays, family emergencies, or unexpected travel changes.

Participants understand that retreat organizers are not responsible for losses resulting from travel interruptions or personal circumstances. 

PARTICIPANT RESPONSIBILITY

Participants are responsible for obtaining and maintaining all necessary travel arrangements, transportation, identification, medications, personal belongings, and other items necessary for participation.

Participants are responsible for reviewing retreat information, travel details, and communications provided before retreat attendance.

MEDICAL DISCLAIMER

Becoming HER is intended for educational, wellness, and personal growth purposes only and does not establish a doctor-patient relationship with Dr. Kela Smith or The Hormone Puzzle Society®.

Information shared during the retreat, including workshops, coaching, discussions, wellness experiences, movement sessions, educational materials, or group activities should not be considered medical, psychological, legal, financial, or therapeutic advice.

Participants are responsible for consulting their own healthcare providers regarding personal medical concerns.

ROOM ASSIGNMENTS & SHARED ACCOMMODATIONS

Participants selecting shared accommodations understand that roommate assignments may be made by retreat organizers and room assignments may be adjusted if necessary for retreat operations.

Every effort will be made to honor preferences whenever possible; however, specific roommate requests cannot be guaranteed.

PARTICIPANT CONDUCT

Becoming HER is designed to create a safe, respectful, supportive, and uplifting environment for all participants.

Retreat organizers reserve the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, inappropriate, unsafe, disrespectful, abusive, or negatively impacts the retreat experience of others.

No refunds will be issued under these circumstances.

SCHEDULE MODIFICATIONS

Retreat activities, workshops, speakers, facilitators, meals, experiences, and schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions, safety concerns, operational needs, availability, or unforeseen circumstances.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

The Hormone Puzzle Society®, Dr. Kela Smith, retreat staff, facilitators, contractors, venue owners, transportation providers, vendors, affiliates, and representatives shall not be held responsible for delays, injury, illness, emotional distress, theft, property loss, property damage, accidents, or circumstances beyond reasonable control.

MEDIA NOTICE

Photographs and videos may be taken during Becoming HER for educational, promotional, website, social media, and marketing purposes.

Participants will receive a separate Media Release Agreement regarding photography and promotional use of images.
